HowToRobot Technology Underpins New National Automation Platform in Australia
HowToRobot, a portfolio company of Vancouver-based Humanoid Global Holdings Corp. (CSE:ROBO, FWB:0XM1, OTCQB:RBOHF), is providing the underlying technology for AutomationFinder.com.au, a newly launched platform from Robotics Australia Group (RAG), the country’s national peak body for robotics, automation and physical AI.
The platform went live on September 1, 2026 and is positioned as a vendor-neutral resource for Australian businesses exploring automation. Users can identify potential automation opportunities, draft supplier-ready project briefs, evaluate feasibility and cost, weigh competing solutions, and connect directly with automation providers.
RAG says the offering draws on a database of more than 600 completed automation projects and combines HowToRobot’s methodology with its own industry relationships and local reach. HowToRobot’s global network spans more than 20,000 automation suppliers, including up to 500 based in Australia. RAG has characterized the deal as the first country-wide licensed deployment of the HowToRobot platform.
Humanoid Global’s exposure comes through a minority equity stake acquired via a US$75,000 contribution to HowToRobot’s Series A financing, disclosed in February 2026. The investment issuer, which focuses on humanoid robotics and embodied AI, also sits on HowToRobot’s advisory board under a two-year, unpaid advisory agreement. It stressed that it neither controls nor operates HowToRobot and is not party to the arrangement with RAG.
“We believe a national licence is a meaningful step for HowToRobot,” said Sunny Ray, chief executive of Humanoid Global, adding that determining what is worth automating — and who can deliver it — is often the hardest part of adoption for businesses.
Investors tracking the robotics and automation theme can follow the space through vehicles such as the Robo Global Robotics and Automation Index ETF (ROBO), which was trading at $78.58 in recent activity, up 0.96% from its previous close of $77.83. The fund allocates at least 80% of assets to robotics- and automation-related companies in its benchmark index.
